Hello all:

I recently requested a critique of a site I'm working on from the 
critique list.  A couple people pointed out that if they try to print a 
page, the white text does not print on white paper.  I have a dark 
colored background, so white text.  It works fine in IE and Mozilla 
but not in Netscape 4.x or Opera 5.x.  Netscape has an option to 
print text black, but Opera does not.  I tried using a seperate 
stylesheet for print (media="print"), but this appears to be ignored.

I since checked out a popular gaming site that uses a dark 
background and white text.  I found they have this same problem.  
Since they get far far more visitors than my site, this makes me 
think that perhaps this is a problem not worrying about.  Neither 
their site or mine strikes me as something someone would want to 
print anyway, but you never know. 

So my questions are:  Is there a way to get printing to work in 
Netscape and Opera without having to drop the colored background 
and white text?  Or is this even worth worrying about?
