Sounds like the script(s) you're using aren't standards-
compliant. IE6, Netscape6, Opera 6, and Mozilla are all 
converging toward the W3C standard DOM, sometimes 
breaking older scripts that depend on browser-specific 
quirks.

You might check the place where you got them and see 
if they have new versions of their scripts, perhaps 
they're more compliant.
