Hmmm, how important is this to the client? If it's a 
major issue to them, then why are they doing business 
with a web host that they're afraid won't keep up their 
end of a contractual business relationship?

If this is so important to them, then I'd consider some 
possibilities ... (1) Spend the money for a hosting 
service they might consider more reliable in this area. 
(2) Consider getting off the shared server and going with 
a dedicated server. If this is an issue to them, they 
certainly don't want the possibility that some other 
customer who uses that same shared server might 
inadvertently crash the server and/or damage their data. 
(3) Investigate the possibility of a "hot site" backup - if 
the main one dies, the backup site takes over.

All this will cost them money, though.
