You might check the W3C specs re XHTML. Perhaps 
this is an area where XHTML isn't quite ready for 
primetime?

Another possibility, maybe the applet you're trying to 
use isn't doing something right with how it picks up the 
parameters?

Maybe a browser problem? I checked it in Mozilla and 
it didn't work at all. I checked it in IE 5.5, and the applet 
worked just fine.
