It's *not* free if it also requires upgrading your OS and 
hardware, or you simply prefer the older browser's user 
interface. My wife likes NS4 on her W2K system. She's 
familiar with it, particularly likes a number of its ways of 
doing things, and it still works on the sites she's 
interested in going to. (And she's the big online shopper 
in our household, so if you want to sell us something, 
better make sure your site works for her!!) She's seen 
and used Mozilla, IE6, NS6/7 - and doesn't like the way 
they do things.
