There's a rather nifty little piece of shareware called Browserola which
will check your pages in IE 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 and Netscrape 1.0 ,1.1,
2.0, 3.0 and 4.0

You can get it here:

might save a few uninstall/install headaches :)
