Yes, encoding DOES work, I've been doing/using it for two years, and don't
get any spam to the email addresses that are encoded.
First, you have to use a CLEAN (new, never used) email address -- one that
hasn't been posted on the Internet ANYwhere, ever. If you have your own
domain name, picking a new, clean email address will be easy enough.
You can do the encoding yourself, or, to get started and it may be easier,
go here:
http://www.emailaddresses.com/mailto_encoder.htm
Either that, or put up a graphic with the email address on it, be sure the
email address you use is a CLEAN email address.
Also, if you have your own domain name and can forward email ... any email
address that is receiving spam/junk now, and one that you're sure won't be
used by customers/clients etc, forward that email address to one of the
freebie email boxes at Yahoo or USA.net, whatever. Then just go over there
once a month, select all, delete.
Hope that helps, Roxy
