Sorry for any oddities and mail filter-failure here, but I had to hunt,
peck, copy and paste to make sure this went to the right parties -- i.e.,
Kehvan makes a marvelous point.
But, Kehvan, it's not a recent dilemma, this has been around for awhile.
Sometimes, people are unsure where to post.
If anyone happened to notice or even glance at the weekly FAQ sent out by
the HWG list guides today, they are also trying to curb this cross-posting
problem.
Folks, please, work your way up the ladder -- ask your question to the
appropriate list. If you are dissatisfied with the response, or lack of,
then in a few days, rephrase the question and try another list. Perhaps you
chose the wrong list? Perhaps you didn't phrase the question quite right?
Perhaps that would be a more effective way to not only get an answer, but
learn a little something too. I know I've found that to be the case several
times on these lists. A few answers off one list frequently led me to new
techniques. ;-)
Layers -- hmm, in the spirit of keeping /on/ topic -- does anyone have any
examples of layers with dynamically generated content? I am learning php
and would be curious if anyone has had any success mixing the two?
(and Kehvan, I noticed the headers -- yeah, it's hard to keep from
perpetuating the problem. I know, I've taken the bait more than once ;-))
