If you currently have browser incompatibilities, is it reasonable to assume

there are NS users that can't load the site at all, therefore, don't get

That depends on the future developments by AOL. The browser figures could
turn WAY around overnight, if AOL dumps IE as their default browser. And it
does look like they are trying to do just that. See this article:
