Hi all,
Please look at the following page:
http://www.redroverclothing.com/pages/baby_hoodcardigan.html
I have two questions regarding this site.
Question 1)
If you select the "Baby Pink" hooded cardigan, a window will open with
details of the product. The way I send the size information that you select
to the shopping cart is by setting the value of the radio button into a
"hidden" field and sending that field to the cart. I also check to see that
there is an entry in the field, otherwise I don't send the info.
Here is what should happen: If a size is select, you get sent to the
shopping cart. If you don't select a size, I write a warning and send you
back to the page to try again.
It all works well in IE (as usual), and I have a problem with NN (as usual).
What I found is that in NN you get sent to the shopping cart whether the
size is selected or not, UNLESS, I make the hidden field, visible. Then it
works fine. Does this make sense? That is why with the Baby Pink you can
see the hidden field, and the process works correctly in NN. If you select
any other jacket on the page, it will simply send you to the cart whether
the size is selected or not.
Question 2)
The menu on this site is javascript and again, I have problems in NN-land.
If you start at http://www.redroverclothing.com/pages/baby_entry.html
you can see the menu on the left. In NN4.7 I can see it. In NN6, I can't
see it. But there is more.
If you see it in NN4.7, select the "Hooded Cardigans". Then on that page,
click the "Return to shopping menu" and the menu now is GONE! I am going
nuts with Netscape....
Please help!!!
Thanks
Nate
