Hi,

I just spoke to a consultant working for a client of mine who is handling 
the network for the client.

I offered to host the site on my server but need to change the DNS from the 
current address to my server. So I asked the consultant to do that giving 
him my name server address dns1.xxx.com

He responded with the following and I am not clear on what he means. I 
don't know what CNAME means or NS records. I simply thought you go to the 
registrar and change the name server addresses. Can someone shed some light 
on this?

Just to verify, you want me to create two NS records in the
client.org domain for www.client.org and point them to the
nameservers above? I usually create CNAME records for the web servers,
but I suppose NS records will work as well, as long as you have your name
servers set to handle the subdomain delegation. Please let me know if I
understand your request correctly.
