Removing FrontPage tagging

I've got a site which was originally created in FrontPage 2000 that I'd like to remake over to 'real' HTML.

Is anyone aware of a utility which can strip out FP-specific tags from a series of pages?  Things like commented calls to 'msnavagation', 'mstheme' and FrontPage meta tags?

Asked from sheer laziness (smile).  Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
