Hi all -
This is more than likely off topic, so I apologize in advance.
Has anyone come across these browsers that are limited by whoever provides
their "version"? Specifically, a client of mine has IE on his PC, and it's
somehow a Yahoo version or limited by Yahoo. It has no address bar to type
in domains! The only option is to enter text into the search field. I
haven't seen anything like this before. Even the routine of clicking VIEW
/ TOOLBARS / ADDRESS BAR has been disabled. I could not get past whatever
Yahoo has done to this copy of IE.
Any thoughts on how to beat this limited browser - or must we uninstall and
install a fresh copy of IE?
Thank you,
Mike
