I want to apologize to all I offended with recent posts, most particularly 
Dennis Lapc%. Arrogance & naivete make interesting dance partners. (*Fools 
rush in where angels fear to tread* but then again, they discover things 
angels never know exist.)

Is it possible to build a robot that searches various pre-selected sites, 
inputs various values into a form (including pulldown menus), submits the 
form then harvests the result? I would customize the robot for each web 
site thus visited, then let it run it's course on command. How would one do 
that? Languages of choice for this operation are PHP and JavaScript with 
MySQL as the database environment. TIA,
