You wrote asking for recommendations on a chat client. I, too, am 
instituting chat on my site. We will be launching a local media Internet 
portal on Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) and chat will be at the very heart of 
what we are doing. Although I can't personally recommend this software 
(because we still haven't implemented it's use), I have done some pretty 
exhaustive research on the subject, and decided on WebCrossing
http://webcrossing.com
Their roster includes some pretty big Internet firms, including C|Net and I 
believe ZDNet. HTH,
