Uploading Video Files

I have a customer who wants to add video clips (mp3) to their site.  They 
sell instructional videos and they'd like to add short sample clips of each.

Is there anything special I need to learn in order to add these files?  I'm 
guessing there's more to it than just uploading the files and linking to 
them... but I don't know what.

I'm meeting with the client and her video guy on Thursday, and I'd like to 
not sound totally clueless. :-)
