Does Netscape 6 break when pages don't validate?

Hi all:
I have tested Mozilla M14 and Netscape 6 PR1 on my sites, which are clean,
XHTML-validating sites, and found no major problems: just the odd quirk.
Yesterday I tested a *potential* client's existing site, and found a fair
number of basic things that did not work, e.g., some links to anchor
tags. I then checked the home page with the W3C validator and found a lot
of errors.
Question: has anyone seen any indication that Netscape 6 PR1 fails more
often (or more seriously) with pages that exhibit a lot of validation
errors, and less often with pages that are clean?
- TIA, Chuck Upsdell
