Deprecated tags are tags that have been eliminated in the newer versions of
HTML, but are still recognized as legacy tags and valid in most
browsers. Eventually those tags will no longer be recognized in the new
browsers, and as more and more people use the newer browsers the tags will
no longer be valid. It's a way to phase out the use of the tags.
