It is a "new" feature in version 4.5 that, if I remember=20
correctly, existed in version 2.5 and earlier, before Allaire bought=20
HomeSite from Nick Bradbury. The first release of HomeSite by Allaire was=
=20
version 3.0 and I know that the underlying code for the text editor part=20
has been completely rewritten for that version and many long time users=20
were complaining at that time that the editor had become much slower. I=20
can't for the life of me remember if HS 2.5 could show hidden characters=20
or not but versions 3.0x and 4.0x definitely couldn't. I started using=20
HomeSite when it was still Nick's one man show and 2.5 was still in=20
beta. Seems so long ago... ;-)
