Okay, I'm really pulling my hair out on this one. I've found a billion web
sites that come just short of telling me what I need to know, but I haven't
found any yet that say it *can't* be done, so my hopes still egg me on a bit.

What I want to do, is pass a variable from a javascript created window back
to the one that made it, when someone clicks on a link in the newest
window. (So that the link activates in the original window, and then the
new window closes itself.) I've got all the parts figured out except for
the talking backwards. I know how to send info *to* the new window, but can
it also go the other way?

Thoughts? Opinions? Help?!?
