MY 1.5 cents worth (I'm Canadian, see :) ) is an odd case.  I'm self-
taught in HTML and have been web designing for close to 10 years.  
Some of the more complex things, like Java, Flash, etc. I don't 
know how to use and use programs for it (although I'm finding Flash 
very difficult.) (CSS used to fall in that category too, but I recently 
taught it to myself.)  Until last year, I did all my coding by hand too, 
but then I got Dreamweaver, and ffound I can still do by hand, and 
get help witht he more complicated stuff.

Then, a few months ago, a client of mine got me Front Page, 
insisting I use it for his project.  (Reason being was that the previous 
webpage was in Front Page format, so he would know how to use it 
if he had to update it himself.  I tried telling him that HTML is HTML, 
but he didn't understand.)  Now, the funny part is, I can do my own 
HTML with my eyes shut, I know and love Dreamweaver, but I still 
can't quite figure out how to use Front Page!  (At least not starting 
from a new project).  Oh well.  :)
