A quick question:

I have come across the codes <br /> and <hr /> before, what does 
the extra / symbolize?  (Ie how are they different from <br> and 
<hr>?)

(BTW, I am working on making a completely tableless page in order 
to try to do future designing this way, and will unveil the results to 
the group once the page is done.  It may take a few weeks, 
however, since we just got a new baby a couple of days ago, giving 
me less time to design.)
