Thank you all, I think I have a few ideas now, although Tiny and 
WC3 couldn't find anythign wrong with the CSS on either page 
(which was curious ... I might just look at the page I *know* has 
properly appearing CSS ( http://www.homepagesplus.com ) and go 
from there)

Thanks to those who recommended Tiny and Web Developer add 
ons, just another reason for me to love FF, I guess!  :)
