Imagemap/Frontpage/mouseover

Greetings,
I'm hoping someone can help me get some mouseover javascript to work when 
used with an image map in Frontpage 98.
The script is called overlib by Erik Bosrup and it produces a formatted 
popup box onmouseover.
But I'm sure the problem is not with the javascript but the way FrontPage 
overrides my imagemap code with its own.
I've adapted the script successfully in Notepad and again when I recreated 
it in Dreamweaver, but when I try to do the same in FrontPage it scrambles it.

So I'm interested to know....is there any way to get rid of FrontPage's 
webot coding and insert my own?
BTW I'm using FrontPage because the person who will be maintaining the site 
wants to use it.

script (Notepad or FP version) if it would help.
