On several pages of a Website one sees different fonts and font sizes on=20
some lines when using Netscape from what one sees when using Internet=20
Explorer. These pages were designed primarily for Internet Explorer. The=20
problem can be seen by looking up on or more of the following links:
http://www.r-u-e.dk/Om_rue/index.htm (see text in the bottom)
http://www.r-u-e.dk/Om_rue/projekter/index.htm (entire page)
http://www.r-u-e.dk/Om_rue/projekter/nav.htm (problem frame)
http://www.r-u-e.dk/Om_rue/netsted/index.htm
http://www.r-u-e.dk/rue_udgiver/index.htm (entire page)
http://www.r-u-e.dk/rue_udgiver/nav.htm (problem frame)
http://www.r-u-e.dk/videnscenter/RUE-Revue/index.htm
http://www.r-u-e.dk/videnscenter/RUE-Revue/2001-3/index.htm
http://www.r-u-e.dk/videnscenter/RUE-Revue/2001-4/index.htm
I have put these pages in a folder independently (without any style sheet)=
=20
and they look identical irrespective of whether I use Netscape or IE. Thus=
=20
I gather that it is not a problem with the script of the page. But by=20
saving the entire Website on my computer then I get to see these small=20
fonts when using Netscape. Therefore I gather that it is not a problem with=
=20
the server. I suppose that the trouble is with the style sheet. For your=20
information I use Netscape=AE Navigator 4.08.
Does anyone know what the cause of this problem could be, and how it can be=
=20
remedied?
As for Opera, I have no troubles when viewing the pages listed above.=20
However many fonts become tiny in the following page:
http://www.r-u-e.dk/Videnscenter/RUE-Revue/ (entire page)
http://www.r-u-e.dk/Videnscenter/RUE-Revue/nav.htm (problem frame)
I use Opera 5.12 to view them.
Does anyone know what the cause of this problem could be, and how it can be=
=20
remedied?
I noticed that links which are not underlined when using Netscape or IE are=
=20
underlined when using Opera. It seems that it does not recognise=20
TEXT-DECORATION: none in the style sheet. I suspect the problem is with the=
=20
style sheet, which has been made for IE.
Thanks for your help.
