Panorama Software

Hello All,

In the past I have used a free java applet, originally obtained from 
www.pictureworks.com to produce a panoramic vista by linking several images 
together.

Pictureworks has been taken over by another company and the applet is no 
longer available.

Can anyone point me in the direction where I can get a similar applet,  I 
would prefer a free one if possible.
