I'm actually in the middle of a slide making project -- turning digital
pictures into wall decorations for an 8th grade dance -- somehow the
parents got put in charge of the dance and I got put in charge of pictures!
You used to be able to get plastic snap-together slide containers. I'm
hoping to find some at either a local hobby store or at a photo supply
store. Currently I'm working with plastic designed for an overhead
projector, but there may be something more suitable. I'm taking the
pictures and sizing them down to the dimensions of the slide -- about 1" by
1 1/4" or so. My problem is that my printer prints out smudgy and the ink
won't stick or dry well. Kinko's can make copies for us that look good and
won't smear or smudge. They charge like $5 for disk processing and $2.??
per picture. I'm thinking about inserting all of my images into a word
document and having them print that out for me on the transparency
plastic. Then cut out the individual images and insert them into the
plastic holders.
I would think something similar could work for you. Good luck.
