ack!! ...IMHO...nooooooo.....

Some of the worst sites I've seen have more bells and whistles than you 
could poke a stick at and are harder to get out of than Dallas in rush hour.

"Professional" in terms of design IMHO means, it's easy on the eye, 
uncluttered, it's easily navigated and it tells me up front, what I want to 
know.

If you have a purple background with 24pt bold type in canary yellow, 
orange ribbons danglin' from the rafters and dancin' bears, then you need 
to rethink your "professionalism"...ewww, I think I just made myself 
queasy...LOL
