Domain Name Pointing Gameby "Anthony L. Gloster, Jr." <alg2(at)alg2.com> |

Good Morning, Here is the question. I like OldDomain.com. Its a cool name and I dont want to let it, nor the content that i have created on it go. But I also have NewDomain.net that more people know about. I dont want to pay for full hosting of 2 different domains. So I am doing a complete backup of OldDomain.com and removing it from the current hosting company. My New hosting company is allowing me to point OldDomain.com to its Domain Name Servers for a fee of $10 per month. I have already submitted DNS changes to Network Solutions to point to the new Name Servers. What do I need to do now to achieve the following result... Someone types in http://www.OldDomain.net/something They get redirected to http://www.NewDomain.com/OldDomainSave/something/ With the address in the URL changing in the address bar to http://www.NewDomain.com/OldDomainSave/something/ Meta Refresh? VHost? .htaccess? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. -ALG2
