This would be a very serious security problem if it was possible. It would,
in essence, let a page author run any application on a visitor's computer.

Why do you want to do this? If it is to get around some Netscape `quirks'
let us see the URL. We should be able to make the page cross browser
compatible for you. Or at least drive ourselves mad trying :-)

Have you got an opening and closing FORM tag? Have you checked to see if
the page is valid (X)HTML? There are lots of things that could make
Netscape behave strangely. Again, if you let us have the URL we'll look
into it.
