Hello All,
I have recently developed a site for a company that, for some reason,
started handing out the URL before the site was completed. This caused
several customers to go to the site prematurely. This site will also likely
be updated on a weekly basis with new information. I already have the
following meta tags in place...
<.meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache".>
<.meta http-equiv="expires" content="-1".>
I was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions/tips/tricks on how to
force the users that had already visited the site to load the new content
when they return.
Also, another developer suggested <.meta http-equiv="expires"
content="-1".> would interfere with search engine spiders indexing the site
properly. Is this true?
Thanks in Advance
