Interesting!  I've extensive experience of PWS under Win 95, and IIS under NT4.

I've recently looked at a system with "IIS" under W2000 Prof. and it looks 
very much to me like the PWS/W95 configuration.  Yes - the MCC panel looked 
like IIS although with several services not working.  Interestingly I found 
a PWS shell which accessed the same directories and everything worked fine.
