G'Day all,
Rarely are such reminders of List Netiquette necessary, so for the majority
of members on this list, please bear with me.
To the small-minded minority:
HTML has many purposes apart from building public web sites. It is used in
the creation of Intranets, VPNs and other private sites, and even used as
an intermediate medium from which it is compiled into other forms (eg. CHM
files, HTMLHelp, and other technical writing programs). Websites
themselves, even though public, may have other functions specific to
organisations.
It is therefore a good idea to answer the question that is asked in the
context that it is asked, and not to use posts as a vehicle for expressing
unrelated personal views that are therefore irrelevant to the question asked.
The "horror" at a password script that was not a password script and
unrelated to the original question is a case in point. The IWA/HWG mailing
lists should not be used as a basis for damaging the websites and
reputation of others. Such activities are a breach of the conditions of
use for these lists:

To the remainder of members, thank you for your patience. I guess the
lesson we can learn is to take more care in phrasing our questions so that
they are less ambiguous to others.
