domain registrar

Hi all,

This is a bit off topic, but I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I am dealing with a client's web site that I am trying to move to another 
host. I did a search (whois) and find the "Sponsoring Registrar: R^#-LROR"

What or who is this? Anyone ever see something like this? How do I deal 
with this?
