Hello,
Im doing a site for a friend and decided to use layers. Far less
hassle than tables and only 2 people seem to visit the site that
cant support layers. (so a plain text site for them is on the way).
ive been trying to see how the pages look in netscape. it isnt easy.
as every time netscape goes near the pages it crashes and dies.
ive uninstalled it, deleted the left over files, taken out the
registry entries for netscape and installed version 4.7. twice ive
done all that. and its still going arseovertit. im running win2k and
IE5 displays the page properly and so does opera4.02 and opera5. if
opera can display it correctly, would it be safe to assume that
netscape will???? (hopefully....)
for the site im using dreamweaver4. is it something to do with the
code that it uses? though i cant see a problem with it.
thank you.
Take care,
Rob.
