I just checked on the character set issue and it seems French (as well =
as
German, Spanish, Italian) use the same character set as English (Latin =
1/
iso-8859-1).=20

So now I guess my question is, if I specify the character set for each =
page
as <meta http-equiv=3D"Content-Type" content=3D"text/html; =
charset=3Diso-8859-1">
then can I use the characters themselves, such as =E9, =E8, =E7, =E0, =
and =E1?

That's what I really want to do.
