That can't be right. There are some search engines out there (Lycos comes to
mind) that haven't updated my site's links since I've been here (over 6
months now) and we moved to a new IP address about 5 months ago. Those links
work fine.

If they are getting the link from a search engine, the old IP will be
referenced.

You have to re-submit to all the search engines.
