Please note I am NOT recommending you steal a picture of a diamond and use
that instead. However, I think if you go to Altavista and do an image search
on the word "diamond" that you will get links to several "top down" views of
diamonds that you can examine to see how light and reflections are given off
by a real diamond. I looked at a few and it seems a daunting task to draw a
realistic-looking diamond in any kind of software. Good luck.

There may also be free clip-art archives that would have genuinely available
and free pictures of diamonds you could use.

I'm trying to make a small round button that looks like a diamond. No, not
the shape...the gemstone but I just can't get it to "sparkle".

I'm fighting with it in PSP6 and I've had it "almost" looking realistic
using the crumple effect in Xenofex but not good enough...it's the Virgo in
me I think LOL. Methinks this might be one time I *wished* I had Photoshop.
