Formmail and any other perl/cgi mailer has to access a mailer program on the
server. On a Unix system, that is usually "sendmail", but on NT, all bets
are off. Luckily, there are sendmail clones out there for NT, some
expensive, others not. I use one called "Sendmail for Windows" from
DynamicSTATE Software (http://www.dynamicstate.com/sendmail.htm) and it
works fine for me. You can also look up a sendmail clone called "blat", it
might be a freeware alternative, though I can't remember for sure if it
really is free.

I inherited a web site for a new client. The site has been
up for some time, previously designed by another person.
There was a simple form on it usinf Formmail.pl. Originally,
the site was on a Unix server but the host was bought out
and then switched to an NT server.

Evidentally, from that point on the form did not function
and the client did not receive their email msgs thru CGI. I
have gone thru all sorts of troubleshooting and have
determined that the script is running and that the email
address is functional. For some reasonthe info is not being
sent. Might this be a problame with the server or some other reason.
