In your style sheet, you need to specify b, strong, i, and em in order for
NN to see them:

b,strong { font-weight:bold; }
i,em {font-style:italic; }

I'm playing around with a site redesign and using Dreamweaver for
the first time. I started to play with stylesheets but
discovered that after I apply a style to a page that if I use
bold or strong that it won't display in Netscape, but it will in
IE.

I know that there are tonnes of issues like this and was
wondering if someone had a good resource that covers how to deal
with these particular crossbrowser issues.
