I'm working on a site for a customer that mis-behaves in NN4.x, as opposed to
IE4.0.
The site has a page of links to Word and Excel documents (native .doc and
.xls) which are client order forms that cannot be pdf. The customer's
clients have to modify the docs and re-send to my customer. In IE a left
click runs the application and loads the file - a right click and you can
"Save Target As..."
In Netscape, however, I can't find the "trick" to keep NN from trying to
display the file contents in the browser window. If I right click and do a
"Save" the file downloads ok, but is corrupted somehow and the app cannot
open the file.
Thanks for any help,
