Haven't ever tried this, but a friend of mine recently had the same problem
and said there's a parameter you can set in the flash object to get this to
work:

<.param name="wmode" value="transparent">

Hope that's what you were looking for...

Hi all,

I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to place a layer over a flash 
component, however, the result is that the layer seems to fall behind the 
flash. Is there a way to get the layer to OVER the flash portion?
