'Truly magical idea'... don't hink there is any, but here are alternatives
and thoughts...

- Save as a transparent SWF graphic (mind NS 4.7x and earlier)
- Browsers start supporting PNG 8-bit transparency

This happens often to me.  I either end up giving the gif a
background, which in your case would be hard, or having no anti-alias
on the text, which wouldn't look as good.

I would probably go with somehow trying to create a background to
match when you make the text.

Someone else may have some truly magical idea.
