i havnt found te article about it yet, BUT, i did find one about =
shields
up. the online port tester. aprantly a hoax....... maybe the article is
a hoax its self?

shields up, on a computer at work, gave a very accurate report. there =
is
no way that would happen if it was a hoax. it gave the correct domain
name for the network, it could see all of the computers on the network,
the printer, etc... etc...

then, we went there with the same computer with a firewall. and it =
didnt
find a thing. all ports were closed or hidden.

using a firewall on shields up, then taking it off and testing, doesnt
proove anything. have to go there when youve had no firewall since boot
up, as the firewall prog will probably leave the ports closed after its
been closed. even flushing the RAM wont work (probably. only tested it
on blackice defender).
