hello.... yes i have. used to have it installed. it slows the computer on
boot up because it sits thre for a bit ready for you to press space bar
incase you want to restore something.

also, it checks files when you create them and save them and writes to a
database it has so it knows what has and what hasnt changed. from what i
remember  you can use it to restore files individually (not sure if it
includes deleted files).

each time you restart your computer or shut it down it will use that date
and time as a restore option. go back to last settings when you restarted"
or whatever. 

i got fedup with it to be honest. because if you do a total system restore
(total as in everything) on bootup then you will lose what work youve done.
even if your only doing to restore the registry, you will lose the fiels you
ctreated since the last restart/shutdown.

also, when i uninstalled it, it freed up 1.5gig of hard drive space....

you are better off getting symanetcs ghost and just take periodical backups
of the partitions you need to keep.

Hi;
I see this ad for *GoBack* by *Adaptec*. It claims to restore your hard 
drive to whatever was on it before something happened, like a crash, virus, 
whatever. Well, it seems to me that such a proggie would be a real resource 
drain. Does anyone have any experience with this or similar products?
