Wouldn't really call this 'simpler' in the point-click-drag-have a cup of
coffee kind of way.  But I agree for nix and nux users it's fun.  Anything,
as long as it works.

  There is simpler solution if you have shell account on both servers
  AND both machines run under Linux or other nix machines.
  Just start  MC (MidnightCommander improved clone of Norton Commander)  
  FTP link one panel to other machine and just copy all files with
  subdirectories to other machine.
  MC is able to preserve all attributes and modify dates of all copied
  files
  (preserving dates is also possible when copy files with WS_FTP
  but only in one direction ie. from Unix to Win95 puter)
