Any advice on a personal firewall?  I'll be having a go with ADSL very soon.

Only one offering ADSL in Belgium is actually Belgacom, but the actual
subscription (software) can be taken care of by many.  Main problem is the
first one: Belgacom, probably the worst phone company in the world.  (hehe,
hereby it's known all over the world).  I could go and do a whole book on
their inabilities, but ah, that should do.

Just a reminder that, whether you go with Cable or DSL connection at home,
be sure to set up a firewall any time you have such an "always on"
connection.  The "bad guys" are constantly seeking an open door to come into
a computer, and having your computer on a DSL or cable connection is like
having it "shared" in Windows.  Lots of other folks can gain illegal access
to it.
