My suggestion... learn PhotoShop.

The drop shadow is in the right-click menu of the layers in PS 5, in PS 6
just doubleclick the layer.

You can do anything and more in PhotoShop.  But indeed, after using
paintbrush for 6 years, it's quite hard to find your way around. ;)

PS... to all those doing webdesign... remember one thing: less is more.  I'm
quite sure the best designs don't have all these fancy things hanging
around.  Ever noticed what makes eg a Ferrari so Stylish?  The pureness of
its lines and the intrinsic simplicity of the shapes.  That's what style is
all about.

ANOTHER question for this same site:-) My customer is asking me to use a
font called Beachman Script for many of his headers, etc. Most of the
effects I want are in PSP (drop shadow, hot wax coating, etc.). However,
the text itself doesn't show up very well in using Paint Shop Pro. There
are pixels in the curves of the script that don't show, and the letters
themselves aren't very pronounced. I get the right text distinction in
using Photoshop LE (it's not the full scale version), but I can't find
the drop shadow and other effects like PSP has. I've also tried
Fireworks. What I want to know is.......how can I type out the words I
want in either Photoshop or Fireworks,and transfer them over to PSP so I
can use the filters and effects that I want? I can't figure out where in
Photoshop or Fireworks the text itself can be selected like it can in
PSP, then just copied and pasted. I'll be glad to send the font to
anyone who's ;curious, but it's also found at fontguy.com. Any ideas?
