What's very useful in Netscape is the possibility to group selects and
actually have subdivisions, or even disable certain things (disabled) so
that you don't need to REMOVE something just because it's no longer there.

As far as looks are concerned, you can use background colours, font
families, text-align,...

Just experiment.  You'll soon see what's possible and what not.

select elements?
