I don't have any personal experience with AOL nor hae I ever come close to
it, but from what I've heard and read on this lsit and other mailing list,
it seems like this AOL thing is about the worst you can get on the net.  I
can't hear anything but people complaining about it, unless they don't
really care or are just pure internet users instead of 'us' developers
(sound a bit elitary, but you know what I mean).

I'd find it very interesting to hear some opinions from both users and
sufferers.  I don't really get why they go about acquiring Netscape, coming
up with own image format,... if all doesn't really work properly.  I'm not
saying other companies are 100% perfect, but it seems AOL is hanging on the
last bit of rope.  Then why are there people actually using it?
